Breakfast with the Fridge Parking:

When breakfast moved from the Hampton Inn off Route One to the Inn and Conference Center last year, fans were allowed to park in the nearby UMUC garage for free. This year, fans were surprised at the first breakfast when they went out to their cars to discover a long line to get out of the garage resulting from the imposition of a $2-3 fee upon exit. At each of the breakfasts this season fans have been late to work or class because of the slow traffic flow that results from the pay upon exit system at UMUC.

Prior to the breakfast before the Florida State game, Campus Parking permitted fans to park in lot 1 (a student permit-only lot) at no charge. However, the following week, Campus Parking discontinued the service without warning, and many fans were left with a $40 parking ticket.

Because of the necessity of fans being able to attend work and class on time and our goal of increased funding for the football program, Terrapin Nation reached an agreement for alternative parking at the University Methodist Church with the proceeds benefiting Maryland Football.
